Forza (Power)

Forza Dance Company is a new project based company started by Michaella Barron. This group of powerful femme friends are devoted to sharing truths of the psyche and soul. Together we push our physical and emotional limits, while creating an honest, communicative, and hopeful environment in order to relay genuine stories and situations through the medium of movement. Music is a driving force in the work that compliments the intention and tone of the movement. Their dance film “Maria” was selected to premiere at Bookings Dance Festival 2021 and their dance film “Outside In” was selected to premiere at the DUMBO Dance Festival 2021. Their most recent work “someday my pain…” was premiered at the Emerging Artists Showcase at Arts on Site December 2021. The work was revamped at the New Work Series at the Tada Theater on April 1st 2022. Recently, the Company presented a new work in progress at Fertile Ground at Green Space Studios in Queens, New York.
