5 for $5 Class Series Spring

5 for $5 Spring is back again starting March 4th! We're highlighting 5 Forza (translated to strong/passionate) women teaching artists in honor of Women's History Month. Our 5 for $5 class series happens twice a year and is a chance for artists to take classes for only $5 that they wouldn't otherwise get the chance, while spending 5 consecutive weeks with an intimate group learning, sharing, and growing together! Dance with us this spring starting March 4th for 5 consecutive Mondays from 6:00-7:30pm at Abrons Arts Center.

Movement Meditation with Michaella Barron

This practice is for YOU. No expectations. No judgement. We begin meditating calming our body and mind, tuning into the self, and reflecting, which prepares our imagination for prompt based improvisation. We transition into a yoga and improv warm up to get our bodies ready for movement. Ground ourselves by moving across the floor. Learn Forza rep to then be deconstructed and made for our own bodies and adapted by each person. And finish class with ease and discussion!
